About
Designing with curiosity, clarity, and people in mind.
I’m Julia, a recent grad from Michigan State University with a B.A. in information science. My coursework was focused around human-centered design, which sparked a great interest in prototyping, user research, and creating experiences that feel thoughtful, unique, intuitive, and useful.
Background
A student designer building meaningful digital experiences.
My work is rooted in human-centered design and shaped by an interest in how technology fits into everyday life. I enjoy taking ideas from early brainstorming into clearer, more usable outcomes.
Across my projects, I’ve worked on prototyping, interface design, research, and front-end development. I’m especially drawn to work that balances aesthetics with usability and helps people navigate experiences more easily.
I’m still growing as a designer, but that’s part of what excites me. I like exploring new tools, testing ideas, and continuing to refine the way I think about design.

Outside of Design
A little more about me.
Outside of academics, you can usually find me at yoga, grabbing an iced coffee, spending time with my dogs, Apollo and Benji, or planning my next trip. I care a lot about staying active, being around the people I love, and making the most out of life.
